Team<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"c24\"><strong>NEW ORLEANS \u2013<\/strong> For the fifth consecutive week, the men\u2019s and women\u2019s outdoor track teams hold spots in the Northeast Regional rankings, as announced by the U.S. Track &amp; Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Tuesday.\u00a0 Following team victories at the America East Outdoor Championships, the men\u2019s team jumped a spot to seventh, and the women held steady at 10.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"c24\">The men\u2019s poll saw no change in the top five, with Cornell continuing to hold a commanding lead over second-ranked Buffalo.\u00a0 Connecticut, Harvard, and Syracuse round out the top five.\u00a0 Boston University showed the biggest improvement of any men\u2019s team, jumping four spots to ten.\u00a0 Columbia leapfrogged UAlbany this week, jumping three spots to six.\u00a0 Maine is the only other America East squad in the poll, holding steady at 15.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"c24\">Connecticut reclaimed the top spot in the women\u2019s Northeast poll, wrestling the spot from Harvard who has been ranked first in most of the women\u2019s polls since the indoor season, but dropped to second this week.\u00a0 Boston University broke into the top five this week, jumping two spots to four.\u00a0 Cornell held steady at third, as did Buffalo at fifth.\u00a0 Binghamton jumped five spots to 14, entering the poll at the third America East squad behind UAlbany and Vermont, who jumped three spots to 12.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"c24\">Three new performances broke into or improved previous marks for UAlbany athletes on the regional performance list.\u00a0 <a class=\"biolink\" vault of 16\u2019-8.25\u201d is fourth in the Northeast.\u00a0 Finally, <a class=\"biolink\" Morris<\/a>\u2019 winning long jump of 23\u2019-6\u201d ranks eighth in the region.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"c24\">The women added two new performances to their individual athlete regional performance list.\u00a0 <a class=\"biolink\"
