With cases, sometimes you don\u2019t need anything fancy, just a case that is easy to use, will protect your device, and won\u2019t add significant bulk.\u00a0 Marware takes this route of simplicity with their Microshell Folio case for the iPad 2.<\/p>\n

The case itself is fairly light.\u00a0 It will only add 6 ounces to your iPad so you barely notice that it\u2019s there.\u00a0 The case fits well around all the outside ports, buttons, and camera and doesn\u2019t interfere with their functions.\u00a0 The back cover for the case is flat and smooth with the exception of two ridges that the lid folds into in order to form a stand.\u00a0 These ridges also function to hold the case off of surfaces so it doesn\u2019t get unnecessarily scratched.<\/p>\n

The cover of the case is soft on the inside so that your screen is protected and you don\u2019t have to worry about scratches.\u00a0 It has three folds which can either be folded back flat behind the case, or folded so that it is held in place by the ridges on the back of the case.\u00a0 The second option gives you two different angles to either view or type on your iPad.\u00a0 Also, the case has smart cover compatibility with magnets in the cover that will put your iPad to sleep and wake it up whenever you open and close it in addition to keeping the lid securely closed.<\/p>\n

The Microshell Folio is great if you\u2019re looking for a simple yet functional design.\u00a0 It has the essentials that all iPad cases should have and none of the bells and whistles that aren\u2019t needed.\u00a0 While it is a great, well constructed case, it is priced a little high considering its simplistic design.<\/p>\n
