<\/a><\/p>\nThe Lumia 900 is sure to catch anyone\u2019s eye with its bright color options and unique design.\u00a0 Not only does it look good, but its performance is well beyond expectations.\u00a0 Plus, it has the advantage of running off of AT&T\u2019s extremely fast 4G network.<\/p>\n
The Lumia\u2019s design is very sleek.\u00a0 It balances sharp corners with rounded edges to create a look that breaks away from the mundane.\u00a0 It currently comes in three different colors; white, cyan, and matte black.\u00a0 Along with its 4.3 inch AMOLED display, it\u2019s sure to catch people\u2019s eyes.\u00a0 The screen had sharp contrast and bright colors.\u00a0 It really enhanced the Windows Mobile experience allowing all your live tiles to reach their full viewing potential.<\/p>\n
On the right side of the phone there is a volume rocker, lock\/unlock, and designated camera button.\u00a0 The top has a headphone jack, charging port, and an interesting micro SIM card slot.\u00a0\u00a0 The SIM card slot\u2019s design is very inconvenient to get to however.\u00a0 The phone actually has to come with a special tool that you poke into a small hole to pull up the SIM compartment.\u00a0 The good news is that if you lose the tool, which is a good possibility since it is so small, you can get away with just using a pin or some other narrow instrument.\u00a0 The bad news is that if you need frequent access to this, you may end up inadvertently damaging the plastic around the tool\u2019s hole.<\/p>\n
The Lumia\u2019s 1.4 GHz single core processor was able to handle average day to day use with no problem.\u00a0 The phone only froze up on me once, but again became responsive after a few seconds.\u00a0 It did however help maximize battery life and the phone was able to get through the day with no problem.\u00a0 Using the 4G will take up some extra juice, but if you need the extra speed just make sure to have a charger handy. \u00a0Pictures and video with the 8 MP camera came out very well with the Nokia.\u00a0 Its shots were focused, with the best results obviously coming in bright outdoor conditions.<\/p>\n
The main downside to the phone is the lack of apps for Windows.\u00a0 This soon may be changing however, as new ones are constantly being added.\u00a0 While the Lumia\u2019s style may not be revolutionary, it sure is a welcome break from phones that all seem to follow the same design concept.<\/p>\n
