<\/a>Spotify\u2019s debut about a year ago in the U.S. has been a big hit with music fans.\u00a0 It provides access to almost any song you can think of, and all you need to get started is an internet connection, to download the Spotify program, and have to deal with the occasional commercial.\u00a0 That is unless you have the Spotify premium membership.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\nWith both the free and premium Spotify memberships, you can search for songs, make playlists, and sync with music that is already on your computer.\u00a0 The interface is very similar to iTunes, so there is minimal change between the two programs that users have to adjust to.\u00a0 The major downsides associated with a free membership however are the commercials and having to be connected to the internet in order to listen to any music you don\u2019t have in your own collection.\u00a0 Getting premium eliminates pesky commercials which can often be mood killers or distractions if you\u2019re throwing a party or studying.\u00a0 You can also download your playlists to your computer so you can listen to them anytime, even when you don\u2019t have an internet connection. \u00a0And perhaps the best part of Spotify Premium is that you have access to the Spotify app so that you can listen anywhere on your smartphone.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n If you haven\u2019t tried out Spotify yet, you\u2019re really missing out.
