The case focuses on Microsoft\u2019s integration of the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Internet_Explorer\" target=\"_blank\">Internet Explorer<\/a> web browser into its <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Windows_98\" target=\"_blank\">Windows 98<\/a> operating system. The trial becomes one of the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/United_States_v._Microsoft\" target=\"_blank\">most famous events in tech history<\/a>, eventually resulting in a settlement between the DOJ and Microsoft.
