It\u2019s the first software to provide a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Graphical_user_interface\" target=\"_blank\">graphical user interface<\/a> for the emerging World Wide Web, including the ability to display inline graphics.\u00a0The lead Mosaic developer is\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Marc_Andreesen\" target=\"_blank\">Marc Andreesen<\/a>, one of the future founders of <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Netscape\">Netscape<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>My first experience with the World Wide Web was in 1993 using Mosaic on a Mac in my dorm&#8217;s computer lab.
