For years Casio has been providing the

\nmobile phones, etc. You maybe surprised to know of their full line of
\nperformance and high quality time pieces. Their Edifice line brings
\ntogether
\nboth digital and analog time keeping into sleek and modern designs.<\/div>\n
\n

An edifice is an imposing and permanent
\nstructure with the
\nsupport of a roof, foundation, and walls. It\u2019s both impressive and
\nreliable and
\nthat\u2019s exactly what the Edifice EQW700DBJ-1A brings to the table.<\/p>\n

The Men\u2019s Edifice EQW700DBJ-1A uses solar
\npower to energize
\nthe circuitry of the watch. Before \u201ctinkering\u201d around, I would suggest
\nputting
\nthe watch in direct sunlight for at least 5 hours prior to time setting.
\nAlthough a 5 hour sunbath is not a complete charge, it\u2019s sufficient
\nenough to
\nenergize the battery and allow ambient light to hold the charge during
\nthe
\nset-up process. The set-up process is a bit tedious affixing the hands
\nto the
\nhome position, setting the time zone and local time. Now you may attempt
\nthe
\nmanual receive for your watch to register the radio signals or WWVB
\nwaves. This
\nwill keep the time accurate to the U.S government\u2019s atomic clock so
\nyou\u2019ll
\nnever have adjust for day light savings time, leap years, etc. The watch
\nwill
\nthen utilize its auto receive function 6x per day to keep the time
\naccurate.
\nHowever, when traveling through zones you will have to manually adjust
\nthe time
\naccordingly. Similarly, the Casio line uses multi-band atomic
\ntimekeeping to
\nreceive calibrating radio signals in both the U.S and Japan. Although
\nset up
\nmaybe a bit much, it\u2019s definitely worth the time spent now that you have
\na
\n\u201clifetime\u201d watch.<\/p>\n

The EQW700DBJ-1A is constructed of
\nstainless steel with a
\npush button clasp, black dial, and quartz movement. It has a sleek and
\npolished
\nbuild that would complement all attire and occasions. The face is
\nbordered with
\na tachymeter scale used to calculate both speed and distance traveled
\nbased
\nrelatively. The watch has a lot more going on than appears, with
\nluminous hands
\nthat maintain glow after sunlight exposure and the auto LED light.
\nLikewise,
\nthe watch is equipped with a daily alarm and stopwatch on the digital
\nscreen.
\nIt also has dual time with both 12\/24 hour formats and has a depth
\nresistance
\nof 100M submerged. The battery power indicator is also a nice feature of
\nthe
\nwatch, displaying battery status before and after charge. Casio promises
\n5
\nmonth use on a full battery charge without additional light exposure and
\nan
\naccuracy of +\/- 20 seconds per month without signal calibration. The
\nwatch is
\nalso equipped with a \u201cstandby\u201d function to conserve battery life.<\/p>\n

Overall, the EQW700DBJ-1A worked better
\nthan expected and
\nhasn\u2019t lost a second. I try not to put too much faith into intricate
\ndevices
\nsuch as these but am dually impressed. If you are looking to invest in a
\nwatch
\nthat will last a lifetime, look no further\u2026 or you may want to check out
