With the current iPad and Tablet PC craze many different style stands for these computers have developed.\u00a0 Stands for tablet PC\u2019s are aimed at making it easier for you to use your computer like a laptop or desktop when you have a flat surface to put them on.\u00a0 The P2 stand takes a straight forward approach to this in both design and function.<\/p>\n

The P2 is made of one piece of aluminum bent into the form of a stand.\u00a0 It can hold your computer either vertically or horizontally.\u00a0 The stand was made with the idea that iPads and other computers would be in cases so they designed the stand so it is wide enough to accommodate your computer without you having to take off the case.\u00a0 It has two holes cut in the back to allow for the charging cord for the iPad and an audio wire.\u00a0 Another great feature is its large base so the stand is stable, even while you use the touch screen.<\/p>\n

The major problems I noticed were that the stand doesn\u2019t have much padding and you can\u2019t adjust the angle.\u00a0 It has two rubber pads which offer some protection to your computer, but it could still get scratched if you\u2019re not careful.\u00a0 It would be a good idea to take advantage of the stands ability to accommodate most computers with their case on because of this.\u00a0 The problem with not being able to adjust the angle was mixed good and bad.\u00a0 Since it can\u2019t change at all, you won\u2019t have any accidental movements which could topple your computer, but also since it can\u2019t move you don\u2019t have the comfort or option to change positions.<\/p>\n

The P2 did surprise me.\u00a0 I liked its simplicity and functionality.\u00a0 It is definitely a good thing to have if you have a Tablet PC or iPad especially if you use a separate keyboard and mouse when you\u2019re working at your desk.\u00a0 It will make using your computer a lot easier.<\/p>\n
