Aiken<\/a> and built by IBM. Harvard renamed the ASCC the <a href=\"http:\/\/redirect.viglink.com?key=11fe087258b6fc0532a5ccfc924805c0&#038;u=http%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FHarvard_Mark_I\" target=\"_blank\">Harvard Mark I<\/a>. The Mark I was not significant for technological advances, as the <a href=\"http:\/\/redirect.viglink.com?key=11fe087258b6fc0532a5ccfc924805c0&#038;u=http%3A%2F%2Fthisdayintechhistory.com%2F2012%2F02%2F15%2Feniac-dedicated%2F\" target=\"_blank\">fully-electronic ENIAC<\/a> was being constructed when the Mark I was being put into service.
