ALBANY, N.Y. \u2013<\/strong> Hosting cross-town rival Siena College Sunday afternoon at Albany Country Club, the University at Albany women\u2019s golf team shot a combined 347, falling to the Saints (339) by eight strokes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Facing blustery and cool conditions, Sam Schuffeneker and Lisa Agoglia paced the Great Danes, both shooting an 86 on the par 72, 6,152-yard course. Paige Fujihara (87) and Rosy Hearns (88) also contributed to UAlbany\u2019s score in the dual match.<\/span><\/p>\n

For Siena, Kylie Strijek and Katie Nelson shared the top score, both finishing 12 over par (84).<\/span><\/p>\n

The Great Danes continue their fall season slate, competing at the ECAC Championship in Harbor Township, N.J., Sept. 29-30th<\/sup>.<\/span><\/p>\n
