Designed to reintroduce the Apple brand, the campaign was nearly universally praised by the press, general public, and advertising industry, winning several awards along the way. Looking back in context, Think Different was the symbolic start of Apple\u2019s resurgence from near-collapse in the 1990\u2032s into the most valuable company in the world.<\/p>\n<p>The campaign was anchored on the now-famous prose commonly called,\u00a0\u201d<a href=\"http:\/\/redirect.viglink.com?key=11fe087258b6fc0532a5ccfc924805c0&#038;u=http%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FThink_Different%23Text\" target=\"_blank\">Crazy Ones<\/a>\u201c, which was\u00a0narrated by Richard Dreyfus in the commercial most people are familiar with. It is commonly thought that Steve Jobs wrote Crazy Ones, but in fact it was written by Rob Siltanen and Ken Segall\u00a0who worked at Apple\u2019s advertising agency,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/redirect.viglink.com?key=11fe087258b6fc0532a5ccfc924805c0&#038;u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.tbwachiat.com%2F\" target=\"_blank\">TBWA\/Chiat\/Day<\/a>. <a href=\"http:\/\/redirect.viglink.com?key=11fe087258b6fc0532a5ccfc924805c0&#038;u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.forbes.com%2Fsites%2Fonmarketing%2F2011%2F12%2F14%2Fthe-real-story-behind-apples-think-different-campaign%2F\" target=\"_blank\">Read more about the history of the Think Different campaign<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Here\u2019s to the crazy ones.
