Say goodbye to wires! Here comes
\nthe powermat. The \u201cmat\u201d is a slender board about a foot long. It can charge a
\nmaximum of 3 devices simultaneously, so it eliminates the need for separate
\nwires, thus saving outlets and a potential bundle of wires. This does have a
\nminor setback, it can only charge devices that have the appropriate
\nadapters(sold separately). The company thought about this ahead of time and
\nincluded a single \u201cpowercube\u201d multi adapter with each powermat, this
\n\u201cpowercube\u201d has several adapters for the more common hand held electronics. The
\nmat has a built in USB port to charge USB based products.<\/p>\n

The mat is also
\nequipped with lights that let you know which of the ports are being used and
\nthe mat plays a sound when a device is put on\/ take off the mat. Once a device
\nis placed on the \u201cmat\u201d it begins to charge instantly, but the device has to be
\nplaced on one of the three little indents on the mat or else it won\u2019t charge. \u00a0<\/span>Overall the Powermat makes charging devices
\nthat are constantly being moved about a much easier task.<\/p>\n

Overall this device is a great way to cut down the clutter on your desk with a high tech solution. However I do not like that each device needs to be specially outfitted with a power mat "adapter." <\/p>\n
