Both games are slated to begin at 2 p.m.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"c25\">The Great Danes conclude America East regular season play against the Stags. UAlbany and Fairfield are tied in the regular season standings at the No. 2 spot with records of 2-1. The Purple &amp; Gold lost 3-0 to standings-leader New Hampshire last weekend, while the Stags fell 5-1 to Maine in Fairfield on Oct. 19. UAlbany concludes its America East schedule at UMass Lowell next Saturday, and Fairfield visits New Hampshire next Friday. The top four teams in the regular-season standings make the America East Tournament field, with the regular season champion serving as the tournament host.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"c25\">UAlbany is among national and league leaders in multiple categories. The Purple &amp; Gold rank second nationally in points per game (11.69) and scoring margin (3.31), third in scoring average (4.25) and goals against average (0.94), and fourth in assists per game (3.19).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"c25\">The Great Danes lead the America East overall in all 12 offensive categories, including scoring margin (3.31), scoring average (4.25), shutouts (7), goals against average (0.94), shots (356), shots per game (22.25), goals (68), goals per game (4.25), goals allowed (15), assists (51), assists per game (3.19) and penalty corners (132, 8.25 per game).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"c25\">Freshman <a class=\"biolink\" href=\"http:\/\/redirect.viglink.com?key=11fe087258b6fc0532a5ccfc924805c0&#038;u=http%3A%2F%2Fredirect.viglink.com%3Fkey%3D11fe087258b6fc0532a5ccfc924805c0%26amp%3Bu%3Dhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.ualbanysports.com%252FViewArticle.dbml%253F%2526amp%253BATCLID%253D208622861%2526amp%253BDB_OEM_ID%253D15800\">Paula Heuser<\/a> remains in the hunt for the rookie single-season scoring record at UAlbany. The midfielder has scored 12 goals in 2013, and needs three more to become the all-time top rookie scorer for the Great Danes. Heuser ranks third in the league in total goals and tied for second in league-only goals with four. She needs one more America East Rookie of the Week honor to become the all-time leader in single-season conference rookie weekly awards.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"c25\"><a class=\"biolink\" href=\"http:\/\/redirect.viglink.com?key=11fe087258b6fc0532a5ccfc924805c0&#038;u=http%3A%2F%2Fredirect.viglink.com%3Fkey%3D11fe087258b6fc0532a5ccfc924805c0%26amp%3Bu%3Dhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.ualbanysports.com%252FViewArticle.dbml%253F%2526amp%253BATCLID%253D208622963%2526amp%253BDB_OEM_ID%253D15800\">Maxi Primus<\/a> continues to post an impressive goals against average in the cage. The freshman has allowed half as many goals as any goalie in the America East.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"c25\"><strong>SCOUTING FAIRFIELD<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"c25\">The Great Danes have never lost to the Stags, posting a 6-0 record. Their last meeting in Fairfield ended in a 3-1 win.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"c25\">Fairfield\u2019s Felicitas Heinen is one of the league\u2019s top scorers, ranking second overall with 13 goals and first in conference goals (5).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"c25\"><strong>SCOUTING PRINCETON<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"c25\">Princeton is the defending NCAA champ, beating the No. 1 seed North Carolina 3-2 last November. The Great Danes are 0-2 against the Tigers, losing their last meeting 6-3 at home in 2008.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"c25\">Teresa Benvenuti and Allison Evans lead Princeton on offense with seven goals each. The sophomore and junior, respectively are Princeton\u2019s top returners from last year\u2019s NCAA championship squad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"c25\"><strong>SENIOR DAY<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"c25\"><strong><a class=\"biolink\" href=\"http:\/\/redirect.viglink.com?key=11fe087258b6fc0532a5ccfc924805c0&#038;u=http%3A%2F%2Fredirect.viglink.com%3Fkey%3D11fe087258b6fc0532a5ccfc924805c0%26amp%3Bu%3Dhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.ualbanysports.com%252FViewArticle.dbml%253F%2526amp%253BATCLID%253D205001980%2526amp%253BDB_OEM_ID%253D15800\">Corrine McConville<\/a> | D | Lehighton, Pa.\/Lehighton<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"c25\">UAlbany\u2019s defensive general, McConville will conclude her career as the program\u2019s leader in penalty stroke goals (16) and attempts (17). To date, the defender ranks tied for fourth all-time in career points with 99 and third in career goals with 42.\u00a0 She has played the second-most minutes of any player in program history with 5,470. With a start against Fairfield, McConville will have started 80 consecutive games in her career.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"c25\">McConville is a 2011 NFHCA All-America Second Team selection and a three-time NFHCA All-Northeast Region team member. As the America East Rookie of the Year in 2010, the defender was also the America East Tournament\u2019s Most Outstanding Performer. She earned a spot on the All-America East Second Team and the All-Tournament team in 2010. The senior has 14 goals to her credit, and needs five more to pass UAlbany Hall of Fame Member Tovah Atwell. Voormolen ranks second all-time in career points with 112 and goals with 47. She is the all-time career leader in Division I program history in points and goals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"c25\">The forward was the 2012 America East tournament Most Outstanding Performer and an All-Tournament team member, as well as the league\u2019s Co-Offensive Player of the Year. She was an All-America East first team selection in 2012, earned a nod on the second team in 2011, and collected All-Rookie team honors in 2010. Voormolen was named to the NFHCA All-Northeast Region team last season as well as the NFHCA Division I National Academic squad in 2012.
