SEASON STATS<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

CAMBRIDGE, MASS. –<\/strong> Jonathan Interiano\u2019s double overtime game-winning goal against New Hampshire on Saturday night earned him America East Rookie of the Week honors when the conference announced awards on Monday.<\/span><\/p>\n

The freshman forward scored his first career goal in dramatic fashion at Bob Ford Field on Saturday night, clinching a 2-1 double-overtime win against the Wildcats for crucial points in the conference standings.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is the second week in a row that UAlbany has earned league rookie of the week honors. Freshman Leonardo Rodrigues was named America East Rookie of the Week last week after scoring the game-winner in a 3-1 win against UMass Lowell in his first career appearance.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Great Danes return to action on Tuesday against Hartwick at 7 p.m., and face Hartford in their final regular season home game on Saturday, Nov. 2.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
