UAlbany Jumps to #15 in Mid-Major Poll<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

ALBANY, N.Y.<\/strong> \u2013 After a strong win over Marist last week, UAlbany has jumped to #15 in the College Insider Women\u2019s Mid-Major Poll.<\/span><\/p>\n

UAlbany, which is undefeated at 3-0 to start the year, has risen from #20 in the preseason and #17 from last week.\u00a0 The Great Danes earned 311 points, including a first-place vote.\u00a0 For the third consecutive week, UAlbany is the only America East team in the mid-major top-25.<\/span><\/p>\n

The America East is getting respect from the poll as well, with both Maine and Stony Brook getting votes in the poll.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gonzaga is once again #1 in the poll with 28 first place votes and 745 points, with Green Bay in second with 708 points.\u00a0 Marist fell to #13 on the list this week.\u00a0 Future UAlbany opponent Quinnipiac is ranked #21, while Northeastern is not in the top 25 but got 16 points.<\/span><\/p>\n

UAlbany will play Cal State Fullerton tomorrow at 7 p.m. at the SEFCU Arena.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
