This flight is a bit different, I tried to take as little<br \/>\ngear as possible while still achieving the same goals. This was a great<br \/>\nopportunity to test out some gear I have been saving for a special occasion to<br \/>\nuse. This included a pair of noise canceling headphones by Audio-Technica and<br \/>\nthe Windy 31\u00a0 three in one USB adapter.<br \/>\nSome of the devices performed great (as noted in other posts) and others, well,<br \/>\ndid not. I<br \/>\ncannot fly with the humming of the engines, babbling of the people behind me<br \/>\nand the clicking of blackberries around me (I wonder who is receiving an e-mail<br \/>\nthis high up, unless you are like Jon Spira of BasexBlog.com). Scouring the<br \/>\nweb, I came across the ATH-ANC3BK, a pair of noise canceling earphones by<br \/>\nAudio-Technica.<\/p>\n<p>Their sleek design,\u00a0 and intuitive<br \/>\nfeature left little to be desired. Currently, &#8220;Boulevard of Broken<br \/>\nDreams&#8221; by Green Day is playing.<br \/>\nWhenever the captain or stewardess come by, rather than having to pause<br \/>\nthe music, and take out the ear phones, along the cord is a &#8220;monitor&#8221;<br \/>\nbutton. The case is a fifth the size of the Bose head<br \/>\nset.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family:'Times New Roman';font-size:12pt;margin:0;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family:'Times New Roman';font-size:12pt;margin:0;\">The in-ear<br \/>\ndesign of the head phones,\u00a0 made them<br \/>\nvery easy to wear for the flight in its entirety, even when they were being<br \/>\nused just to muffle out the sound of the people behind me talking. The head<br \/>\nphones can be used with or without noise cancellation.
