Most items I buy serve their purpose, and then<br \/>\nphase out. My original cell phone was\u00a0 Nokia 3390 and &quot;became&quot; a<br \/>\nBlackBerry Storm. Last night, a very brave First Generation iPod mini ended<br \/>\nit&#8217;s elongated life. Originally traded for a Sony Ericsson T300, this iPod was my<br \/>\nfirst and longest lasting iPod (five years and two months) to be exact. It has<br \/>\nbeen taken apart multiple times, the battery changed once, as well as the harddrive, and<br \/>\ntime to time the case (for a change of color), it lasted through the<br \/>\ntimes and never let me down.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align:left;\"><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align:center;\"><span><a href=\"http:\/\/techiteens.files.wordpress.com\/2009\/04\/img00106.jpg?w=300\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"WLPP;url=http:\/\/techiteens.files.wordpress.com\/2009\/04\/img00106.jpg?w=300\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/techiteens.files.wordpress.com\/2009\/04\/img00106.jpg?w=300\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/div>\n<p>\nIt provided hours of entertainment on never ending flights, a decent<br \/>\ngame of &quot;brick breaker&quot; when my BlackBerry was off doing other things,<br \/>\nand was always glued to my side with the included belt clip. The iPod,<br \/>\nwhich was named &quot;Mini Blue&quot;, died last night after it fell off to the ground. The belt clip and iPod was hit by my hand, fell against<br \/>\na treadmill and was thrown into a wooden cabinet.
