Field and Cross Country Coaches Association also released their list of Scholar Teams for the 2013 cross country season.\u00a0 The University at Albany placed both the men\u2019s and women\u2019s team on the honorees list.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"c24\">The list included 217 women\u2019s programs and 160 men\u2019s programs that earned a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.\u00a0 Among the programs listed, 231 were unique, and 146 institutions had both their men\u2019s and women\u2019s programs honored.\u00a0 The UAlbany women finished the season with a 3.42, and the men finished with a 3.22.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"c24\">The Providence women were named Scholar Team of the year, winning nationals and earning a 3.38 GPA.\u00a0 Five athletes on Providence\u2019s women\u2019s roster earned individual All-Academic honors, which ties Colorado for the most representatives.\u00a0 On the men\u2019s side, Northern Arizona earned the Scholar Team award, finishing second at nationals to Colorado and accumulating a 3.34 GPA.\u00a0 Two Northern Arizona men earned individual All-Academic honors.\u00a0 Southern Mississippi had the highest cumulative GPA for the women at 3.79, and Chattanooga had the highest for the men, at 3.71.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i2.wp.com\/pixel.quantserve.com\/pixel\/p-89EKCgBk8MZdE.gif?resize=1%2C1\" border=\"0\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><br \/><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/redirect.viglink.com?key=11fe087258b6fc0532a5ccfc924805c0&#038;u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ualbanysports.com%2F%2FViewArticle.dbml%3FDB_OEM_ID%3D15800%26amp%3BATCLID%3D209406637\">ALBANY<br \/>Headline News<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.techiteens.com\/review\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/c5670__p-89EKCgBk8MZdE.gif\" border=\"0\" height=\"1\" width=\"1\" \/><br \/>\n<a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.albanystudentpress.net\/mens-and-womens-cross-country-named-scholar-teams\/\">The Albany Student Press<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Men\u2019s And Women\u2019s Cross Country Named Scholar Teams Release NEW ORLEANS \u2013 In addition to Silvia Del Fava and Brittney Lane earning All-Academic honors on Friday, the U.S. Track &amp;
